莫世健，澳门大学法学院院长，中国国际经济法学会副会长，中国国际私法学会常务理事，中国国际经济贸易仲裁委员会仲裁员，中国海事仲裁委员会仲裁员。1956年4月出生，祖籍重庆市，土家族，1982年吉林大学法律系法学学士，1986年加拿大Dalhousie大学法学院法学硕士，1991年澳大利亚Sydney大学法学博士，1995年澳大利亚Monash大学法学学士，取得澳大利亚律师资格。现任中国政法大学国际法学院院长，教授，博士生导师，澳门科技大学法学院兼职教授，澳大利亚詹姆斯库克法商学院兼职教授，香港WTO研究中心兼职研究员等职务。

Professor John Shijian Mo, Professor of Law, currently the Dean of the Faculty of International Law, China University of Political Science and Law; Vice-President of China Society of International Economic Law; Arbitrator of China International Economic and Trade Arbitration Commission; Arbitrator of China Maritime Arbitration Commission; Adjunct Professor of Macau Technology University Law School, Adjunct Professor of the Faculty of Business and Law, James Cook University, Australia; Adjunct Research Fellow of Hong Kong WTO Research Centre. Professor Mo’s major research areas include international commercial law, maritime law, arbitration law, WTO law and Chinese commercial law. His major English books include International Commercial Law, 3rd edn, 2003, Butterworths; Arbitration Law in China, Arbitration Law in China, Hong Kong, Sweet & Maxwell Asia, 2001, Shipping Law in China, Sweet & Maxwell Asia, Hong Kong, 1999；Chinese Law, co-edited with Wang Guiguo, Kluwer Law International, London, 1999；

莫世健教授著有多部中英文专著和论文，主要研究领域包括：国际商法，海商法，仲裁法，WTO法规和中国商法等。主要英文专著包括：International Commercial Law (已在澳大利亚出版第3版，2004年由法制出版社和Lexis Nexis作为经典法学教材丛书引入中国)，Arbitration Law in China，Shipping Law in China，Chinese Law （与王贵国教授合编）。以上专著已为国外多所著名法学院图书馆收藏，其中Shipping Law in China至今仍是唯一的用英文出版的中国海商法专著。主要中文专著为：《中国海商法》和《贸易保障措施研究》。莫世健教授已发表中英文论文百余篇，其中英文论文六十余篇。
